Ash Wednesday: Begin your Lenten journey with us in worship on Ash Wednesday, March 5, at 6:30 p.m.

Farmers’ Market: March 9 is the date of this year’s Winter Farmers’ Market in cooperation with Food, Faith and Farming Network. In addition to the market, we will have a brunch with locally-sourced food from the farmers. The menu and ticket prices are displayed at the ticket table. Bring your own bags or purchase an Ascension bag to use as you shop. We will again need volunteers. Please sign-up online to help. Pick up an invitation card on Sunday to invite friends to join you at the market.

Love Your Church, World, Life: In the month of February, Ascension celebrates “Love Your Church/Love Your World/Love Your Life” month. Each year, we spend time spreading the love of God inside and outside the walls of Ascension. We invite you to choose a heart off the window of the sanctuary to purchase items and/or live out your faith or see the requests online. Find out how you can show some love to your church, world, and life!

CRASH Paczkis Sale: CRASH is selling paczkis just in time for Fat Tuesday. We will be taking orders after worship this Sunday, Feb. 23. They will be available for pick-up on Tuesday, March 4, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

CRASH will meet on Sunday, Feb. 23, at 6 p.m.

JOLT Feb. 20: JOLT meets tomorrow night, Thursday, Feb. 20, at 6 p.m.

Children’s Choir Spring Session: The Children’s Choir will rehearse Thursdays March 13 through April 10, from 5:15 to 6 p.m. All children in grades K-5 are invited to join us. Questions to Vicki Taylor.

Blessing Box: With the colder weather, please be aware that not all items will survive extremes in temperature. Canned and jarred foods can break so please do not put them in the box during this cold snap. Boxed food in its original package, dried food, hygiene items, winter scarves or mittens, school supplies, and cleaning items are all appropriate during the cold months. We cannot accept anything not in the original packaging.
