And that is what Jesus is doing this night. Providing a moment -— that will lead to other moments -— that will encourage our faith in the days and months and years to come. As Jesus washes feet and breaks bread and offers wine, he is setting the tone for a lifetime of moments when we will celebrate, as Jesus commands us to, in remembrance of me.
