For 70 years, we have heard the stories and sang the songs of the miracle of a Savior born to a teenage mother in a manger. For 70 years, the people of Ascension have given thanks for the lives of those we love. For 70 years, we have witness the waters of baptism (over 1800 times!). We are the shepherd who leaves the 99 to find the lost sheep. We are the woman who sweeps to find the one lost coin. All because Jesus tells us our God is the One who seeks the lost and the broken and the loney. We love because God first loved us.
