Rev. Guadalupe Cortéz tells us that today we live in a polarized world, with divided families and communities. It is necessary that we return to the origins of discipleship, where they were messengers of peace, justice, and hope to all the marginalized and excluded peoples of that time. Making disciples goes beyond gaining converts; it involves forming followers of Christ.
