Outdoor Worship: This Sunday, Aug. 23, join us for worship in the sanctuary at 8:30 and in the Memorial Gardens at 10 a.m., weather permitting. Bring a chair or picnic blanket.

Children’s Ministry Sign-Up & Backpack Blessing: Please sign-up online to let us know we’ll see you this fall! Also, join us on Sunday, Aug. 30, at both services for backpack blessings to help start the new school year on a good note. We’re looking forward to Sept. 13 when we will kick-off Children’s Ministry for the year!

Safari Stories—A Night of Food and Fellowship: We will share the joy, faith, and hospitality we experienced in Tanzania with all of Ascension on Sunday, Aug. 23, at 5:30 p.m. for a special evening of fellowship, food, and story-sharing. All are welcome. Bring a dish, bring a friend, and enjoy an evening of armchair travel!

Supporting Lowell Elementary: Thank you for your donations. We’ve surpassed our goal for glue sticks thanks to your generosity! We’re still collecting Kleenex for the school.

Young at Heart Potluck & Fall Trip: The fall Young at Heart bus trip is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 25. We will go the Schauer Arts Center and enjoy a nostalgic tribute to the legendary Everly Brothers, departing at noon and returning by 6 p.m. Before the show, we will stop at The Mineshaft for lunch. The total cost for the trip is $85 per person, which covers transportation, concert ticket, and meal. Registration and payment will be taken on Sunday, Aug. 23.

Blessing Box Hot Weather Notice: Due to the extreme heat, please only place packaged goods in the box. Cans can explode if it gets too hot. Keep an eye on the weather forecast. If you have items to donate, you can place them in the marked bin for either the Blessing Box or Food Pantry in the Donation Center. If you have fresh garden produce, we cannot monitor the Blessing Box frequently enough so please take these items directly to the Food Pantry.

Livestreaming: We offer livestreaming on our YouTube channel of our worship services so you can join virtually.
