Grow with Ascension Lutheran Church
Spiritual growth is a journey for all ages which includes everything from Bible studies, small groups, youth programs to bereavement support and stewardship.
Adult Education
As we seek a deeper relationship with God, we can be consumed by a hunger to explore the questions of our faith. On Sunday mornings and during the week, Ascension offers different opportunities for Bible Study, book studies, and gatherings for conversation and exploration of topics. Ascension also offers a yearly Adult Affirmation of Faith experience where you can join a small group of individuals to study the Bible, read and discuss different books around topics of faith, and provide for honest and authentic reflection in guided discussion times. Youth Education
Ascension has vibrant and active programs for children and youth, ages birth through high schoolers. Please see the following pages:
Small Groups & Support Ministries
Small groups at Ascension provide an opportunity for learning, relationship building, discussion and tending. A variety of small groups meet on different days of the week and on a monthly or semi-monthly schedule. Small groups may discuss books of the Bible, or commit to a study around a book, or dive into a 6-week study of a specific topic. Stewardship
Another part of growing spiritually is realizing that everything we have comes from God. This allows us to be more generous with our possessions and frees us to use them for God’s work. Opportunities to serve in this area are many. We have on Sunday mornings, helpers and aides for children’s programs, confirmation leaders and adult assistants, chaperons for trips, leaders and coordinators for adult education, stewardship team members, and many more. You can also make financial contributions to Ascension and specific ministries. Ascension has an Endowment Fund, which you can donate to or request funds from.
Memorial Gardens
Ascension’s Memorial Gardens offers a quiet, reflective space in which to remember a loved one or pray.
