JOLT: Confirmation

JOLT: Journey of a Lifetime

At Ascension, we view Confirmation as a continuation of one’s spiritual development, the beginning of living out one’s own faith in new ways. Students in 6-8th grade explore their own faith through large and small groups, faith exploration events, and an annual trip or retreat. Confirmation is the opportunity to learn, explore, and develop the personal faith, which began at baptism.

The primary goals of JOLT are to share with students the joy of a deep and rich relationship with God through the building of community and individual relationships and the careful instruction of students with regard to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

December Schedule

Wednesday evening JOLT sessions take a break in the month of December. During this time, students will be working independently on their assigned Advent project. All Advent projects are due on, or before, JOLT resumes on Jan. 17, 2018. JOLT students are expected to attend and participate in worship regularly throughout the month of December.
